Dr. Jason Garber, M.D. is a graduate of Duke University in North Carolina and received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1995 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He went on to do his Residency in Neurological Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine before doing his Fellowship in Spine Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. During his time at Baylor, Dr. Garber was selected for the Summer Medical and Research Training (SMART) Program. Dr. Garber was Board Certified in Neurological Surgery in 2004 and has since been practicing in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Garber has been published in multiple educational materials, including the NNI Journal. Dr. Garber has also travelled internationally speaking on subjects such as “Making Sense of Spine Surgery” and Anterior Cervical Fusion”.

Dr. Gregory Goldsmith, M.D. is a graduate of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico and received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, Texas. He went on to complete his Internship in General Surgery and his Residency in Orthopedics at Emory University, Atlanta Georgia. Post Residency, he completed his Fellowship in Atlanta, Georgia as a Team Physician for the Atlanta Falcons Football Team. Dr. Goldsmith has been practicing in McAllen, Texas for over 20 years.

Dr. James Manning, M.D.

Dr. James Manning, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Idaho and received his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. He also went on to do his Internship at the USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California as well as his Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Finally, he completed his Fellowship in Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Medicine at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Manning has been practicing in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1988. Dr. Manning serves as a Clinical Professor and Instructor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas as well as Adjunct Faculty at University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Gerard Pennington M.D.

Dr. Gerard Pennington, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical School. He trained in Orthopedic Surgery at the Pensacola Educational Foundation before finishing is residency at the Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in Texas. Dr. Pennington has been practicing since 1990, the last 20 years in the San Marcos, Texas area, and was the Senior Partner and Medical Director of Hill Country Sports Medicine.  He joined HCSM in 1992 and became a Team Physician for Texas State University and numerous High Schools in the central Texas area. Before coming to San Marcos, he served with the US Army at which time he completed his Orthopaedic training at Brooke Army Medical Center. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his participation in operation Desert Storm while assigned to the 144th MASH unit stationed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Frank Robinson, M.D. is a graduate of Rice University, Houston Texas and received his Doctorate of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine after 4 years at the University of Paris Medical School at Bobigny, France. Dr. Steven Thornton, M.D.

Dr. Steven J. Thornton is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a private practice in Dallas. He is an arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery expert. Dr. Thornton has written scientific articles on various sports-related topics ranging from elbow ligament reconstruction in throwing athletes to rotator repair cuff and ACL reconstruction and has presented these findings at a number of national meetings. Dr. Thornton also serves as a physician reviewer for the Journal of Arthroscopy and serves as a clinical assistant professor at Southwestern Medical Center. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Clinton Bush is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who has worked for the last five years in Occupational Medicine.
He has had a  full and active career as a surgeon in Gainesville, FL and left active practice in 2005 to do a seven-year sailing circumnavigation of the world. Upon returning to the USA, Dr. Clinton pursued a non-surgical career in orthopaedic office settings and more recently in an Occupational Medicine clinic.
In addition to the core mission of caring for injured workers in the clinic, Dr. Clinton is using his experience and expertise in musculoskeletal medicine to perform Independent Medical Examinations, disability examinations, Peer Reviews, Medical Record Review, and Utilization Reviews. Dr. Shah Vira is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and Chicago Medical School. She completed her ophthalmology surgical residency at the University of Arizona, where she served as chief resident. She then completed a two year dual fellowship in Neuro-ophthalmology and Oculoplastics at Ohio State University. Dr. Vira specializes in surgical correction of the eyelids and eyebrows, eyelid malposition and tumors, excessive tearing, and conditions involving the orbit. In addition, she specializes in neuro-ophthalmological procedures with a particular expertise in thyroid eye disease, orbital decompression, double vision (strabismus), idiopathic intracranial hypertension (pseudotumor cerebri) and optic nerve sheath fenestrations. Dr. Shah Vira is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, North American Neuro Ophthalmology Society, Fellow of American College of Surgeons, and Austin Ophthalmology Society.
